When you use PawPawStar, we collect information necessary to provide and improve our AI pet portrait generation service. This includes account information such as your name and email address when you sign in through Google authentication. We also collect usage data including the pet photos you upload for generation, your style selections, generation history, and purchase records. Technical information such as your browser type, device information, IP address, and interaction patterns with our Service is automatically collected to help us maintain and improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and enhance the Service. This includes processing your pet photos through our AI models to generate portraits, managing your account and credit balance, processing payments through Stripe, and storing your generation history so you can revisit your creations. We may also use aggregated and anonymized data to improve our AI models and user experience. We do not use your uploaded pet photos to train our base AI models without your explicit consent. Your images are processed transiently for generation and are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. Uploaded images are stored securely and transmitted over encrypted connections. We use Supabase for database storage and authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and Replicate for AI model inference. Each of these providers maintains their own security certifications and compliance standards. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with several third-party providers to function. Google is used for authentication and receives your name and email address when you sign in. Stripe processes payments and receives your payment information directly — we never store your full credit card details. Replicate provides the AI inference infrastructure and processes your uploaded images to generate portraits. Supabase stores your account data, generation history, and uploaded images. Each of these services has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum data necessary with each provider.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and ensure the Service functions properly. These cookies are necessary for authentication and core functionality. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the Service and identify areas for improvement. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Service.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can view and manage your generation history through your gallery. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. You can revoke Google authentication access at any time through your Google account settings. If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively, including the right to data portability and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Note that we do not sell personal information.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
